This charming plantation wedding took place in spring at the Kelly Plantation Country Club. Megan loved the idea of a plantation style wedding due to her southern roots, but also wanted to incorporate garden elements. In my opinion, the venue was a perfect fit. The bride looked stunning in an ivory gown trimmed in Swarovski crystals and lace, I love that she chose a flower in her hair versus the traditional veil. The color scheme consisted of shades of purple from lilac to plum with touches of green foliage. She chose eggplant tea-length dresses for her bridesmaids and had them carry bouquets filled with maidenhair fern, roses, ranunculus, and sweat peas. There were lots of fun details from signature cocktails served in mason jars to caramel apple favors at every place setting. Megan and Nick are high school sweethearts and boy does their love shine through in these images shot by Dede Edwards. I think she hit this one out of the park. Enjoy!
