Last fall I had the pleasure of working with Mary Beth Tyson Photography on Melissa & Kents wedding! Mary Beth did an amazing job of capturing the sheer beauty of the day. The bride wanted a traditional and elegant wedding using various shades of plums, purples, and pinks. One of my favorite elements from this soiree was the oversized paper lanterns illuminating the clear top tent overlooking the Destin Harbor. Absolutely breath taking.
I have been dying to blog this wedding! When I first saw the sneek peek photos from Laurens bridal session with the incredible Rae Leytham, I knew the wedding was going to be fantastic! Don’t you just love the photo of her with the horse? Hello gorgeous! Lauren, Marc, and their families were such a dream to work with. They got married last year at the beautiful Pensacola Country Club. Fresh citrus colors were the name of the game. Who doesn’t love the smell of citrus fruit? There was a story behind lemons pertaining to how Marc proposed to Lauren, so I loved that they were present on their wedding day as well.
Part two of our inspiration shoot at Pebble Hills ties together a modern avant garde look with a southern equestrian flair. Our color palette was white, icy blue, and touches of silver. One of my favorite details was the silver magnolia leaves as well as an appearance made by a pretty little pooch! Enjoy!

I am beyond thrilled to finally get Jana + Brent up on the blog. I had many great clients and weddings last year, but this one is on the top of our list. Planning with Jana and her mother was as such a delight. This is a prime example of how fantastic a wedding can be when a bride puts her faith in her vendors, and she did exactly that! It was a beautiful day for Jana + Brent’s seaside nuptials. The decor was stunning with succulents a plenty. Jana decided she wanted to pair the rustic elements with glamour creating a chic look. We think the end result is simply swoon worthy. Lauren & Michael with Lauren Kinsey Photography captured the day just beautifully. Wouldn’t you agree?
So before we can share the wedding photos from this incredible couple we have start with their UH-MAZING e-session with Birdsong Photography. Jen and Chase are a super loving couple with a little rock and roll in their souls. We think Brett really hit this one out of the park! You can check out the full post here.
If you have ever visited Destin, you know the view of the harbor is simply breath taking. So the deck at the Emerald Grande really did serve as the perfect backdrop for Angel and Joey’s wedding last summer. Angel’s favorite flowers are daisies, so she knew she wanted to include this flower but also wanted a very elegant look. The pale yellow and white floral and decor complimented the teal grecian dresses the bridesmaids wore. The reception took place in the ballroom with lots of fun treats for the guests. From a photo booth with props to hand scooped gelato everyone seemed to enjoy themselves. Pure 7 Studios captured the entire day as well as the end of the night with the happy couple on the dance floor!
Every year Destin Magazine prints a wedding issue. This year Angel and Joeys wedding was featured with a stunning photo of the bride on the cover. We were honored to a part of the wedding and even more thrilled that it was published! A big thank you to Pure 7 Studios for producing such incredible images and to all the other vendors involved!
We are so excited to announce the winner of our FREE Wedding Giveaway with Lauren Kinsey Photography. We had tons of adorable couples that entered, so narrowing down to one was tough. Thank you again to everyone who entered!
So, without further a do, our winner is Quynh and Steven from Texas! This cute couple is set to get married later this year in Dallas, Texas. Congratulations!
Doesn’t everyone know that diamonds are a girls best friend? Well for Ashley, diamonds, glitz, and the color pink were a must when planning her wedding. With a color palette of pink, plum, and sapphire, she definitely had a vision when she came to us and we were thrilled to help bring her vision to life. The wedding was chock full of vibrant details from a hot pink birdcage veil to extraordinary handcrafted bouquets adorned with vintage brooches, baubles, & buttons. Guests were invited to an intimate simple ceremony followed by a fun and vivacious reception, and when we say vivacious, we mean it! The couple surprised guests with a choreographed number that entertained. Now, sit back and let the girls from VUE photography entertain you with these stunning images.
