When I first met Hylan and Brent, they expressed the importance of having a fun wedding with great southern seafood, good music, and excellent drinks. So, we elevated that concept and designed them a Carillon beach wedding ceremony to die for and a chich bohemian reception with blue and white tones at The Carillon Beach Meeting House.
A Nashville Love Story
Hylan and Brent’s love story started almost five years ago while they were both visiting Nashville, Tennessee, for the weekend. He was out with a group of friends, and she was out with her sister. Little did Brent know that the next round of drinks he would purchase would change the rest of his life. The two had so much fun chatting over a few drinks that they canceled their evening plans and spent the rest of the night dancing. Knowing that their time was limited, they spent the next day together before parting ways as Brent headed back to San Diego. After months of chatting and being apart, a trip to San Diego for Hylan transformed this long-distance relationship into the flourishing marriage it is today.
Carillon Beach Wedding Design
Carillon Beach Wedding Ceremony
For this Carillon beach wedding, Hylan and Brent wanted to take advantage of their location on the Gulf of Mexico and opted for a ceremony on the beach. Surrounded by emerald-colored water and white sand beach, it was the most picturesque location for these two to say their I Do’s.
The couple exchanged vows under a crescent-shaped wedding ceremony arch with simple greenery and white textured floral accents while the guests sat in wood chairs that looked out to the water.
The Meeting House Reception
Their reception at the Meeting House was inspired by a chic and feminine bohemian look with a neutral color palette with very subtle blue and green accents.
White-washed wood chairs and rattan details were incorporated into the design of the guest’s tables and the lounges at the reception. The Meeting House was the perfect Carillon Beach wedding venue for this design as it is such a bright and airy space.
One of our favorite features of The Meeting House is the versatile lawn space. Set with twinkling lights, handing chandeliers, and white furniture, this space was transformed into a romantic beachfront oasis for all guests to enjoy.
